🚨 2-hour emergency call to Pigeon Forge, and we got them home safe 🚨

Last night we got a call from a family staying at a cabin in Pigeon Forge. On the way down the mountain their brakes started smoking. They got so hot they burned the dust boots right off the calipers. The family had to leave for home at 7 the next morning, so waiting on a shop wasn't an option.

We drove 2 hours up the mountain that night and got to work right there at the cabin:
✅ New front pads, rotors, and calipers
✅ Full brake system bleed
✅ Test drive to make sure it stopped right
✅ Full vehicle inspection, plus a list of things to keep an eye on once they got home

The frustrating part: right before the trip they'd had the truck looked over and specifically asked about the brakes. When we pulled the wheels, the pads were almost down to metal. What should've been a simple ~$400 brake job turned into a $1,400 emergency repair, on vacation, on a mountain.

Lesson: when you ask someone to check your brakes, make sure they actually pull a wheel and measure. We'll always show you exactly what we find, with pictures.

When your business depends on your vehicles, downtime isn’t an option.

Travis with Oliver Springs Portables gave us a call on an already packed day with an A/C issue on their 2020 Ford F-550. We were able to get him an upfront price immediately and work the truck into our schedule the same day through our priority scheduling for fleet accounts.

We came directly to him, replaced the A/C compressor, got everything serviced and back up and running, handled the billing, and had the truck ready to get back to work, all in the same day.

A huge thank you to Travis and Oliver Springs Portables for trusting RoCo Auto with one of their fleet vehicles. We appreciate the opportunity to help keep another local business moving.

Another vehicle back on the road. ✅

This 2019 Nissan Pathfinder came to us with multiple warning lights, brake vibration, and intermittent starting concerns.

As part of every diagnostic appointment, we perform a complimentary 160-point vehicle inspection so customers have a complete picture of their vehicle's condition not just the problem that brought them in.

In this case, we were able to identify the issues, walk the customer through the findings, prioritize the repairs, and have the vehicle back on the road the very next day.

No pressure. No guessing. Just a thorough inspection, honest recommendations, and repairs done right.

If your vehicle has a warning light on, strange noises, brake issues, starting problems, or you're just not sure what's wrong, we'd be happy to take a look.

DON'T LET IT GET THIS BAD.

The brakes pictured below wore completely through and began grinding metal-on-metal. What could have been a routine brake service turned into a much larger repair bill.

We understand that vehicle repairs don't always happen at a convenient time financially.

That's why RoCo Auto offers payment plans on qualifying repairs, helping customers get their vehicles repaired before a small problem becomes a major expense.
