This year’s Mayor and Council Award was presented to a 1923 Ford Model T Huskter owned by Richard Bassett.

He and his brother found the car in Rock Creek at age 15 and dug it out by hand. After 15 years of restoration and a lot of love the vehicle is restored to it original form.

Each year at the Rockville Antique & Classic Car Show, the Mayor and Council select a standout vehicle to receive the Mayor and Council Award! This special recognition honors a car that captures the spirit, history, and passion of the show.

The Mayor and Council Award Winner will be announced at the show at 2:45 p.m. on the Main Stage.

The 2024 Mayor and Council Award went to a stunning 1957 Chevrolet Corvette, proudly owned by Cal Milans !
