On May 26, Governor Wes Moore signed the Jack Fitzgerald Price Transparency Act (HB 306) into law.

This law reflects the principle that guided Jack - and that guides Fitzgerald Auto Malls to this day: be transparent and do right by your customers. It allows dealers to clearly explain when an online price is affected by manufacturer rules and when a lower price may be available.

As Jack always said, "what's good for consumers is good for dealers."
Seeing his name on this law is a powerful reminder that the values he championed live on through every one of our employee-owners. This law doesn't change how we do business, it reinforces it.

Meet the Owner 👋

Robert "Bob" Hughes has been with Fitzgerald Auto Malls for over *31 years*! Bob’s dedication, experience, and passion for the industry have made him an invaluable part of the team and the service department.

One of his favorite memories? Walking the sales lot with founder Jack Fitzgerald on a hot day and listening to him talk about how he could sell the used vehicles on the lot—a moment that’s stayed with him throughout his career.

Outside of work, Bob enjoys playing golf and still genuinely loves coming to work every day ⛳

👉 Why do we call this Meet the Owner? In 2023 we transitioned into a 100% Employee Owned-Company (known as ESOP) - the largest dealership group in the country to do so! Because of this, we love to take a moment to celebrate our many co-owners that make our company shine everyday.

Today we're introducing our employee-owner Tyler Lang, a Service Advisor at Fitzgerald Chrysler Jeep Clearwater. With 5 years on the team, Tyler brings experience, energy, and a passion for cars to every guest interaction in the service lane.
His favorite Fitzgerald memory? An 80s rock n’ roll-themed event where the whole team showed up dressed like rockstars 🎸
Outside of work, Tyler is all about the car scene: spending time (and maybe a little too much money 😉 ) on his race car and hitting up local Cars & Coffee shows.
