Another successful Holley Terminator stealth installed and tuned on this c10 cruiser. Also includes a Holley internally regulated efi fuel setup with -6an PTFE fuel line, Dakota Digital HDX gauges setup with their BIM module. This went from a pusher to a daily driver. We logged roughly 40 miles on this truck to assure it is road worthy for the client. Cold ac as well!

Built this car a while ago, when it was just myself and I barely started Renegade. It’s nice to be able to service and work on these older builds.

Welp, she’s about done. A cheap exhaust shop welded the exhaust from the collectors to the tips. Because it has two piece collectors, it was contaminating the o2 signal. So additional work was needed to address this and make the exhaust serviceable, plus a bunch of drivability work. Nasty cam setup in this 427.

Pull to 7000.

Tons of money was tossed at this car for the result the client received from the original shop that did the install.
A Holley system was installed, ac wiring was pulled with the original engine management system and the gauges were left non functioning, also the car didn’t run.

We converted the ac to standalone, used the Holley I/O system to trigger the cooling fans and bump the iac to compensate for ac compressor load and converted the ac to standalone. Since the CCRM was removed we were also able to rewire the factory fan to implement high and low speed fan functions, installed Dakota Digital VHX series gauges with their Holley BIM to import data over to the gauges from the Holley, and we also removed all of the butt connectors that were used in the original install and used all of the oem ford connectors to tie the wiring back into the existing car harness, we cleaned up the Holley trigger connections and tidied up the dash wiring, removed a lot of messy engine wiring and rerouted everything we could. Didn’t get detailed pics, but the the last few pics will show what we received.

This may not be a $100,000 car but it’s a great client that appreciates attention to detail and effort.

Some folks believe they’re too good to be consistent from project to project because of the “it’s good enough for this car mentality” this car is headed in the right direction and can finally be headed to paint soon for completion.

Just an update for our client base. We came down with some kind of virus that has run through all of us in the shop. We are functioning at about 50% of our normal production, but we have to shake this thing.

Our client Buddy Atkinson passed away recently. We didn’t know this gentleman well but he was a joy to work with and his kids were amazing. They are hard workers and stepped up during the process of picking his car up and delivering it back to them.

We extend our condolences out to his family. Rest in piece, sir.
