It is one of the most common questions in the shop. How long do the batteries last? 🔋

Lead acid batteries usually last 4 to 6 years if you check the water and charge them after big days. Lithium batteries usually last 8 to 10 years, and they need almost no care.

Either way, the best habit is the same. Charge it full and do not let it sit dead. Save this for later.

Fall is when the service bay fills up. Everybody who parked their cart in July wants it running by the first cool weekend, and they all call the same week.

Batteries, brakes, tires, belts. 🔧 We keep the common parts on the shelf, so most of those jobs turn around fast. The ones that wait are the odd project carts that need something ordered in.

If yours has been sitting, now is the easy time to bring it in. Two weeks from now is the hard time.

The right cart depends on who is riding.

A two seater is easy to park and fine for daily errands. A four seater with forward facing seats, like the EZGO Liberty, fits the whole family and no one rides backwards. If the grandkids visit every winter, that extra seat pays off fast.

New owners always ask what it costs to charge a cart. The honest answer is not much.

Charging it overnight costs about the same as a cup of coffee. ☕ Sometimes it is even less. Plug it in when you park, wake up to a full battery, and ride all day.

It is one of the small things that makes cart life easy. What surprised you most when you got yours?
