This is our David Mays, Senior Master Automotive Technician, who has been expertly fixing cars here for over six years. He was kind, patient, and highly intelligent. He loved solving complicated problems. He loved his family, his dogs, his fire department, and his lifelong daytime career, which was helping others stay safe on the road.

We are honored to have worked and laughed, through sweltering days and frigid days, easy fixes and crazy messes, alongside this great human. His smile was contagious, his optimism and energy amazing, his commitment to everything he loved, one-in-a-million. David made it all feel doable.

He was gone in a few short weeks, but we will carry him with us forever. David, what a great honor it has been…until we all meet again, we will miss you.

After 9 Years in our current location, Rockport Auto Clinic is moving to our new shop at 2314 S. Church St. (next door to our kind & wonderful neighbors K & P Fabrication) on Tuesday, March 14th! 🙏🥳🎉

A huge Thank You to Marbach Plumbing Co., Inc., C Side Decorating, Inc., Extreme Metal Buildings and Fabrication LLC, L&W Grading and Construction, Floyd Clark Construction, Griffith & Brundrett Surveying & Engineering, AEP Texas, Coastline Homes, Gina Stephens Kirkland, Micheal, Ryan, Adrian x2, Eddie the Awesome Electrician, Regina, The Garretts, Ziral, and The City of Rockport for your help and excellent work in completing this project!

Also, MUCH appreciation goes out to ALL of our fantastic employees who have kept things going beautifully while Allen and I have been working on this for the past many months! We are thankful for you every day!

Today is Rockport Auto Clinic’s NINE year anniversary! We are celebrating today by continuing work on our new shop building at 2314 S Church St (right next to the ‘Welcome to Rockport’ sign on Biz 35). We have a lot of wide open space out here, plenty of parking, and a big, beautiful Live Oak Tree, which I have named ‘Jubilee!’♥️Beth
