The 2020 Mid-East Modified season is a wrap. Although due to COVID the season and banquet was a little different, we celebrated with our race family/friends last night. Thanks to Jason Walls and Brittany Walls (series owners) we were still able to have a season and a banquet. Jeremy had 7 wins for the season, finished 1st in the South Region, 3rd in the North Region, 3rd overall and 6th in the weekly points. Jason said it best when he said it was the heartbreak of the year but watching Jeremy handle the cards that were dealt to him at the end of season with the grace and maturity that he did made me even more proud to be his mom. He will make his move to the late model full time for the 2021 season and I can’t wait to see where that takes him. Chris even received a surprise award last night as he was named Crew Chief of the Year. There is no way that Jeremy would be able race at the level he does without the help of so many that believes in him but most of all Kris Callahan with Xcell Grading & Waterproofing, LLC. Now it’s time to move on to the 2021 race season!
