Labor Day Weekend Hours

This Friday, September 4th, Universal Imports will close at 12:00 PM as our team steps away for a company outing. It’s an opportunity to spend time together outside the showroom and shop, and to celebrate the people behind Universal Imports.

We will return for our regular Saturday hours on September 5th and look forward to assisting you then.

In observance of Labor Day, Universal Imports will be closed Monday, September 7th, allowing our team time to enjoy the holiday with family and friends.

We wish our customers, friends, and neighbors a wonderful Labor Day weekend, and as always, thank you for being part of the Universal Imports community.

We’ve all experienced the reduced air quality this week. While most of us are thinking about the air we’re breathing, it’s worth remembering that your vehicle is breathing it too.

Smoke and fine airborne particles can cause both your engine air filter and cabin air filter to become dirty more quickly than they normally would.

Your engine air filter helps deliver clean air to the engine, supporting efficient performance and proper combustion. Your cabin air filter helps reduce smoke, dust, pollen, and other airborne contaminants from entering the passenger compartment.

If your vehicle is due for an oil change or routine maintenance, this is an excellent time to have both filters inspected. It’s a simple service that can help maintain engine performance while improving the quality of the air inside your vehicle.

To help your vehicle recover after the smoke clears, schedule your service appointment for next month and receive 10% off your engine and cabin air filter replacements.

Call us today to reserve your appointment while availability lasts.

Sometimes the best maintenance isn’t about fixing a problem—it’s about preventing one.

We’re Growing!

We’re excited to share that Universal Imports has expanded into a larger, upgraded auto body shop right here in East Rochester.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. If you take pride in your craftsmanship, enjoy working alongside a great team, and are looking for your next opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.

If you’re interested—or know someone who might be a great fit—please send us a message, give us a call, or stop by. We’d love to connect.

Please feel free to share this post with anyone who may be interested.

Great teams do not happen by accident. They are built, sharpened, and invested in.
Earlier this year, three members of our leadership team, Mark, Hunter, and Erin, traveled to Albany to complete the NIADA Leadership and Management Bootcamp. The program brought together dealers from across the country, including operators from Las Vegas, San Antonio, New Jersey, and Delaware, for hands-on training in leadership development, team performance, and operational ex*****on.
We invest in our team because our team is what you experience every time you walk through our doors. Better trained leaders mean a better experience for you, whether you are buying your next car, bringing yours in for service, or just stopping by to say hello.
Forty years in, we are still learning. Still growing. Still committed to earning your trust one customer at a time.
Thank you, National Independent Automobile Dealers Association for the opportunity to grow alongside great dealers from across the country.
Come experience the difference at 834 Linden Ave or visit universalimports.com.

This Monday we pause to remember the men and women who gave everything so we could live free.
Our family is deeply grateful for their sacrifice and for the families who carry that weight every day.
Universal Imports will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day. We will return to regular hours Tuesday at 8 AM.

Spring pollen, summer bug splats, and sudden thunderstorms are hard on visibility. If your wipers streak or chatter, it is time for new blades. It is a 10 minute job and one of the cheapest upgrades you can make for safety. Top off your washer fluid while you are at it.

Next time you stop in, ask us to check your wiper blades. While you are here, ask about our new Ultra Clear Water Repel Window Treatment by BG. It bonds to your glass to repel rain, snow, and grime, giving you cleaner sightlines all year long. Even better, if you have enough points in our Car Care Rewards app, you can claim this treatment for free. Loyalty earns you clearer roads.

Every dollar you spend with us earns rewards. 5 points per dollar on service. 1,500 bonus points just for signing up. And 10,000 points when you buy your next car from us. That is real value, every time you come in. Search Universal Imports Rewards in your app store or visit universalimports.com to start earning today.
