The Cadillac XT5 will be getting a long-awaited redesign for 2027!

We don't have all the official details yet, but it will likely be similar to the XT5 that has been selling in China for the last couple years. But unlike that one, the U.S.-sold XT5 will be built in Spring Hill, TN, the same factory where our XT5 has always been built.

It will have a gas engine, but may also be a hybrid with an electric motor; that decision has not yet been confirmed. No release date has been announced yet, but when it is, we will let you know!

The 2027 Cadillac Lyriq, which is expected to start production in Spring Hill, TN, this month, will be switching from J1772/CCS1 power outlet to the NACS power outlet for charging. This follows the same change made with the Cadillac Optiq last year. This will allow the 2027 Lyriq to charge at Tesla superchargers without an adapter. See the attached article for more details.

If you are trading in a 2023-2026 Lyriq for a 2027 Lyriq, and already have a J1772 wall charger for home charging, be sure to also purchase a J1772-to-NACS adapter so that you can continue to use your existing home charger with your new 2027 Lyriq. These adapters can be ordered through Crestview's Parts Department.

The 2027 Lyriq will also continue to offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The 2027 Cadillac Lyriq gains a built-in NACS port, unlocking access to over 25,000 Tesla Superchargers, alongside a modest price increase.
