🏁 Mormerial day weekend endurance racing
Day 1: Practice
Car ran very well, tested new radios, alignment and fuel consumption were on target. We did loose a shifter cable bracket near the end of the day.
Day 2: Race 1 (7 hour)
96 cars started. Lots of rain, all day… started mid pack and stayed there most the day. Windshield fog was too much for the defrost to keep up with and made for a very difficult drive fast. With a few hours to go we had a spin in the bus loop and got tapped on the left rear by a mazda Miata. We made quick repairs and were ready for tomorrow race.
Day 3: Race 2 (7 hour)
Only 63 cars on grid from yesterday. The rain just stopped and we were racing. The team drove hard all, stay on track, took multiple yellow flag pit stops and ended with an awesome 4 class finishing position. Car also did its fastest lap at WGI and rove all day without issue. We ended one spot out from a 🏆but surviving the is the real win.
