Congratulations to Justin Kidd and Team 47 on a well deserved win last night at Countyline for the Archie Bryant Memorial Race. It was survivial of the fittest and the tech shed for 33 laps for a payout of $3333.33. Team 47 came out on top!

DHM traveled southbound Saturday night for the 20 lap COSSS race at Fayetteville Motor Speedway. Danny had a great run, after a not so great practice session. Came in and made a few adjustments for qualifying and set it P1 for the feature, turning an impressive 15.70 lap time. He started the feature and fell behind Peyton Abbott in p2 for 10 laps. He bought his time and made the pass to take the lead. He checked out on the field for the remaining 10 laps, picking up his first win for the 2025 season! Thank you to everyone who has a hand in this operation week in and week out! Our car owner, Scotty Williams, we appreciate all you do for this program. Wayne Collie, as always, comes through with the horses under the hood to get it done. Robby Bilbrey of rPi, we appreciate you and what you bring to the table. This shock package is second to none. Thanks to the crew for always being there! Justin, James, Zack, Jimmy Wells, Scotty and Jennifer, we couldn’t get it done without you all!

We’re sitting on go for the season opener tonight at County Line Raceway. We will be competing again this season in the COSSSeries, which also marks Danny’s 35th year racing! He will be wheeling the Dan Williams Roofing machine for the event. Good luck to everyone tonight! 🏁

2024 racing season is officially a wrap.
DHM headed to Fayetteville last night for one last trip around the oval for the season. It wasn’t how we hoped to end the season, but even with the not so good runs, we can’t complain about the season this team has had. It’s been a season of accomplishments. It’s been a season of new friendships and partnerships that will carry through a lifetime. It’s been one for the memory book. We hope this class continues to grow and the series will flourish. It has been a great class of competitors, even on the emotionally heated nights when things didn’t go your way.
We couldn’t of done it without crew, sponsors, and friends and family.
Car owner Scotty Williams of Dan Williams Roofing, we appreciate all you do for this team. Sponsors Don Juan Mexican Restaurant, Centerline Designs. Robby Bilbrey of RPi, thank you for your contributions and wealth of knowledge that delivered a superior shock package for us. Wayne Collie with Collie Racing Engines, thank you for the impeccable horses under the hood.
All the crew that shows up every time the truck and trailer rolls out of the driveway. We love you all.
Big things will be happening over the winter months as we prepare for 2025 that will mark year number 35 for Danny! Excited to see what next season has in store! Stay tuned 😉

Well, Saturday night didn’t wind up as we hoped. Ran Countyline for their season finale. Turned fastest qualifying lap to start the feature p1 beside Peyton Abbott. Got together at the drop of the green causing tire to begin losing air, finally going flat lap 17. Came in, got it changed and went back out for final 3 laps, ending the night finishing 7th. It’s all part of racing…take the good with the bad. I can honestly say what an incredible season this team has had and we could not be happier with the performance of this fast machine and the wheelman.
We could not do it without everyone involved. It takes a village to do what we do. We cannot thank car owner Scotty Williams enough for the opportunity and support you give. Sponsors Don Juan Mexican Restaurant out of Roanoke Rapids and Centerline Designs. We cannot express how pleased we have been with the performance of the horses under the hood all thanks to Wayne Collie of Collie Racing Engines. You set the bar high. Robby Bilbrey of RPi, we appreciate what you bring to the table with the shocks on this rig. Your knowledge is second to none.
Thank you to Justin Kidd for your help and support week in and week out at the shop and the track. We appreciate everyone who has stepped up to assist over the course of the season.
A special thanks to Larry Jackson and crew for your assistance Saturday night. What a class act you guys are!
That wraps up the 2024 season for the local tracks. Now it’s time to get back in the shop over the winter months for the 2025 season, which will mark Danny’s 35th year in this sport…and we can’t wait 🙌🏼

DHM departed early Saturday morning, headed for Nichols, SC with a two-man band, truck, trailer, and two for the cheering section. Danny took on Lake View Motor Speedway in an attempt at redemption from his last appearance there that resulted in a DNF. He had his sight set after qualifying p1 with a fast time of 17.974 in his 5 lap hot lap/qualifying, even grazing the wall under the checkered flag. That didn’t slow the rocketship down for the 15 lap feature. He went green to checkered, picking up his first ever win at this track.
As always, we couldn’t do it without so many. Car owner, Scotty Williams of Dan Williams Roofing, we appreciate you! Sponsors, Don Juan Mexican Restaurant out of Roanoke Rapids, and Centerline Designs. Wayne Collie of Collie Racing Engines has given us incredible horses under the hood. We can’t say enough about Robby Bilbrey of RPi, with the knowledge he gives and the shocks he delivers. Second to none 🙌🏼
Last and certainly not least, Justin Kidd, thank you for all of your help and your efforts week in and week out. We might be a small team, but we put in the work to get it done! 👌🏼
It’s almost a wrap for the 2024 season, with the possibility of running Countyline, before we hang it up for the season. And what a season we’ve had 🏁🏆

It was bittersweet to go out in the 2024 season finale at Halifax County Motor Speedway last evening with the win. With that being said, learning this morning that the track will be under new management next season, we wish Michael and Pam Wells all the best and we appreciate all you’ve done for this sport we love so well.
We truly can’t say enough good things about this team. Scotty Williams, thank you so much for giving Danny the opportunity and giving him free reign to get it done. Wayne Collie with Collie Racing Engines, what can we say? This power plant is second to none! We appreciate you! Thanks to Robby Bilbrey with RPi, the mastermind behind the shocks on this hotrod. Thanks to sponsors Don Juan Mexican Restaurant, Dan Williams Roofing, Centerline Designs, and The Uptown Car Wash. Our friends and fam, thank you for always showing up and supporting 🫶🏻
We plan to run 1-2 more races at other tracks before we hang it up and get back in the DHM camp and get ready for the 2025 season! 🏁

Season ender at Dixieland and we went out with a bang! 🏁 After a few practice laps that weren’t quite up to par…we went in and made a few changes that did the trick. Danny went out first in qualifying, setting it on the pole for the feature. The sportsman division was the first feature of the night, with a purse of $1500 for the 25 lap event. Time and curfew didn’t bite us this week! Danny took the green, set the pace and cruised his way to victory lane leading all 25.
We couldn’t do what we do without the help of a lot of folks. First, Scotty Williams, car owner, for giving us the opportunity. We can’t thank you and Jennifer enough. Thank you to our sponsors, Don Juan Mexican Reseaurant, Dan Williams Roofing, Centerline Designs, and The Uptown Car Wash. A special thank you to Justin Kidd for his constant help and support. Maria Liles for all you do behind the scenes. Zack Hudson, nephew, thank you for your help when your schedule allows you to come play in the dirt. Jimmy Wells, we appreciate all you do and all of your help.
Wayne Collie with Collie Racing Engines, the piece under the hood is stellar! We appreciate you. We can’t forget the brain behind the shocks, Robby Bilbrey with RPi.
We have just a few more races to go for the season.
Remember, support your local dirt track 🏁
