Bayne Nantz was an Illinois native and an up-and-coming member of the F.B.I.

Following recent events the Galesburg Motorcycle Club has elected to invite the public for an evening of open riding in honor of Bayne.

If your schedule is clear, I strongly encourage you to come ride one of the best short tracks in the Midwest with all of the proceeds going to the Nantz family.

If you’re a local two wheel enthusiast, bring your grill and pack a cooler for a fun night of motorcycles. Everyone is welcome!

Every single dollar will be going back to the Nantz family!

We’ve done everything we can to provide the best racetrack for tomorrow! Kevin Westart helped in a huge way and did a phenomenal job giving the entire track a facelift after all of the rain we have received recently.

All jump faces/landings have been reshaped, and widened in certain areas ✅

Fresh wood chips have been spread throughout the track ✅

A lot of evening water applied ✅

We will continue to prep the track throughout the day and early tomorrow morning. It’s supposed to be a hot one tomorrow but this track is going to be FUN.

- number plates have become an issue. Be sure it can be read. Blue on black, grey on black, holographic, just dark on dark or no # at all are VERY HARD TO READ! If you want to be scored correctly make sure you have plates that can be read. Especially with the 50s and 65s those are small plates and add this issue they are impossible to read!
If we can’t read the number you WILL not be SCORED.
Read the district rule book. It tells you what the numbers and background your supposed to run.

Please stop at the top of the hill at the stop sign that will be displayed and pay $15 gate fee/person

The track didn’t receive any measurable amount of rain last night. We’re set up for awesome track conditions and FAST racing this evening!

Pack up the family and join us for a night of bar banging short track action from some of the best racers in the Midwest!

Practice starts at 4:00 p.m. - Racing to follow

$15 gate fee - Kids younger than 12 y/o (non-riders) are FREE

It's that time of year again, our 24th annual Bob Walters Short track race Saturday night July 25th. Come on out for a great night of racing. Those FBI boys of Illinois and hopefully many others will be out for a night of racing. Practice starts at 4 pm and racing to follow. There will be concessions on site, bring your chairs and a cooler to enjoy the show.
We will also have the little ones on the Stacyc bikes
