But once we got into it, we quickly realized there was more going on than just an exhaust leak!

When was the last time you replaced your fuel filter?

This truck came in with low fuel pressure, and once we started diagnosing it, we found the culprit—the fuel filter was NASTY!

Even worse, the fuel coming out of it was full of dirt and water. That kind of contamination can cause poor performance and lead to much bigger—and more expensive—fuel system problems.

A fuel filter may be a small maintenance item, but it has a BIG job. Don’t wait until your truck starts showing symptoms!

Some mechanics just “pad slap” it. At Underdog Mechanical, we fully diagnose and inspect it!

This customer came in with squeaky brakes, but a closer inspection showed there was more going on than just worn pads. We found the calipers were dragging, causing the brakes to overheat. đŸ”„

Simply replacing the pads wouldn’t have fixed the real problem—and could have led to another repair down the road.

 needless to say, it turned out to be a very poor choice.

Once we got into it, we found problems you should never expect to see in a properly remanufactured engine — and this was just the start!
