Boys, girls, and children of all ages the time has come yet again. Once again I'm in the running to have the once in a lifetime opportunity to build a chopper with Paul Sr of OCC. Voting will commence at a later date and I will be posting the link to that daily once voting opens back up. As of right now competitors are being selected from the nominations and once all competitors have been chosen and grouped voting will begin. Thank yall for all the support I was given in the last competition and I ask that yall support me yet again. Thank yall

I will never put down a reputable competitor. I may throw jabs at HD every so often but never another local business working every day to fulfill their dreams. But, this is your every so often reminder that a quick YouTube video doesn't make that cheaper guy a good alternative. Get it done right the first time and save on costly repairs that will increase the price when their halfway done job messes up even more than the original issue you had. Everyone starts somewhere, we all know that, but it's well worth the cost of getting it done by a professional.

Many have asked what 2022 shall hold for us. So allow me to answer a few questions that folks may have and bring us all up to speed. With inflation and supply issues running rampant in this nation all businesses are forced to adapt or close their doors. I started this Shop to help people and live everyday doing what I love and have a passion for. Please read this long winded post and apply it as necessary.

Rev's Cycle Shop is a full-service motorcycle shop. From complete services to tire changes. From custom builds to mild modifications. We work on both American and metric. We work on all eras of motorcycles. We offer a range of services including regular maintenance, vintage restorations, engine rebuilds, and full-bike builds.

Motorcycle tire changes include mounting and balancing, usually this can be done the same day if you get it in early and I'm not deep into another job.

▪ $75/ loose (wheel off the bike.) Please leave spacers and loose parts at home. Beads and disposal fees not included.

▪ $190/ wheel on the bike, the bearings, beads, and disposal included. (Timken bearings setup additional charge)

Additions and Exceptions: There may be additional expenses when getting your tires changed. If your valve stem is questionable, it will be replaced. If you have a tube, it will be replaced. Valve stems and tubes are extra, so let there be no surprises there. Hard wired saddle bags are an additional fee as they take more time to remove.

Why this long-winded explanation of potential additional expenses? Because if you know me you know I'm thorough and we have discovered this stuff is not obvious to everyone, and we don’t want it to lead to some complaints about hidden fees qnd services that they didn't ask for and we will not do things half-assed. I believe in safety and everyone being able to stay on the road. So now we're all on the same page.

We have decent tire prices on all major brands of motorcycle tires. As of right now we don't have a large stock of tires but that's being worked on. We can typically get it in a day or so when we order it though.

Other SAME-DAY SERVICES include:

▪ Oil and filter change Typically $50 for a single hole (plus the cost of the filter & oil of your choice)
▪ Safety Check $110 (Includes a list of any issues your bike might have)
▪ Full Service range is $250-$450 from Sportsters to Trikes. A full service includes conventional fluids, filter, gaskets, and full inspection with adjustments.

APPOINTMENT NEEDED.
I am currently the only person turning wrenches. With that comes a necessity to understand not everything can be done for everyone same day.Call ahead to schedule a day and time for drop off. We will talk to you when your bike arrives and can generally give you an estimate at that time, if we haven’t on the phone already. Our time and cost estimates are based on years of knowledge and experience, not wild guessing and we do follow labor guides. But keep in mind it’s an estimate, not an exactimate! We strive to have your parts here before your bike arrives for the appointment so the job is done quickly and efficiently. If it came in needing to be diagnosed, expect to leave your bike a week or two, especially if we need to order parts for your particular repair. ALL PARTS MUST BE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE.

Please keep in mind that your inability to properly maintain your bike or make your appointment time, doesn’t equate to an emergency for me. Emergencies do happen. We understand that. A quick call as said emergency arises can straighten that all out. Do not expect me to take you seriously if you’re telling me your priority is to wire your speakers and out some underglow on and you’re running bald tires with no brake light. If you miss your appointment, you will be bumped down on the list. Miss again, and you’re blacklisted.

CUSTOMS/FULL BUILDS/PROJECTS
We maintain and restore motorcycles of any era. We do not have a year restriction. We don’t sugar coat and may have hurt a feeling or two by saying a bike is "Not worth fixing"we are realists and will tell you if your bike will cost more than it is worth to make it road worthy. A custom frame chopper or even a bobbed out metric may hold value to you but that doesn't equate to a realistic value for said motorcycle. We love restoring motorcycles that are rare or have sentimental value and you can’t put a price on that but sometimes, for some people, it is better to spend your money on something that runs now and that you can enjoy today. That is simply being realistic.

Our ability to work on your project efficiently depends on you and your cooperation in the process.

LABOR RATES
Our shop LABOR RATE is $110/hr for 2000 through current model year Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Pre-2000 bikes, any metric, and fabrication projects are $125/hr. Emergency calls requiring me to drop my current project to get you back running will have a $50 fee added to invoice with the exception of small minor issues I can resolve quickly.
In the event that you bring me a dirty bike to repair I will charge a cleaning fee. Fee is based on the level of cleanliness needed to do the repair. If I'm changing out a tail light obviously it will not require the great detail of cleanliness an engine build would take. But the level required will be reflected on the invoice. Fee ranges from $20-$200. Obviously no bike will be immaculately clean and simply riding the machine will make it have dirt and grime on it. This is not what I'm talking about. But don't expect to bring me a machine that looks like it was buried in a mud pit and then brought out for a cam swap and it not be reflected on the bill.

DAMAGE ESTIMATES
start at $200, we can help you work with the insurance company or a private party to get you back on the road. In the event we repair your machine the cost of estimate will be included in the invoice for the repair. If you do not get the machine repaired with us the cost of the estimate is to be paid before you may pick your bike up.

WORK COMPLETED AND PAYMENTS
Most of you can hardly wait to pick up your motorcycle the instant it is ready for you, but if you leave it for more than 5 days after we notify you it’s done, we may charge you a STORAGE FEE of $20/day unless arrangements are made prior. We reserve the right to charge storage on bikes that are done but not picked up in a timely manner. When you don't pick your machine up it ties up our shop and makes us have to go through extra steps to get things done. You can talk to us if you need to make other arrangements and we will likely be more than willing to help you out by storing your machine where it isn't in our way. We do this for people all the time and don't mind a bit. But we cannot tie up our shop hindering us from getting more bikes out due to your lack of communication. All motorcycles will be detailed before picking them up unless you wish for them not to be.

PARTS WILL BE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE. Labor is paid for upon completion of repairs. Bills on restoration projects will be paid, as billed, on Fridays. If you do not pay your labor bill to current for the week, it will not be worked on the next week. I can't put off paying projects to not be paid for your custom or restorative job.Storage fees will then begin to accrue if payment is not made. We understand that not everyone can afford a custom project. But a custom project is a want and not a need. We expect to be paid as we work, just like you do. Payments can be made via the emailed invoice, over the phone, and of course in person.

Again I state for now, I do it all. All by myself. From drop off to pick up and everything in-between. I’m not always available to be on the phone for hours at a time. I won’t stop working to give you a consult and estimate on a big project if you just show up without calling ahead either. Appointments are important. I can’t drop an engine assembly to let you pick up your bike outside of your appointment time. And I definitely can’t discuss your dog’s cousin's baby mama's stomach virus, your trip to wherever, or the bike your dad’s cousin had in 1982. Don’t get me wrong,I love talking and I can talk someone's ear off but when I get caught up in five pop ins and conversations a day that’s hours that I am behind that day. Have the same respect for our time and other peoples’ projects that you would like extended to you.

Lastly, we are a family business with an actual family here working (6 days a week). Please be respectful and keep politics out of our business. If you wish to wear a mask do so, if you want us to wear one too respectfully ask and it will be accommodated, if you wish to not wear one that's fine too we don't travel wearing them everywhere either. You undoubtedly have your own opinions on the matter, but we have managed to start this business and stay open throughout the pandemic and with our healthy habits we’ve kept our family healthy for the past two years. Thank you to each of my customers that have supported me through this. We appreciate the consideration and opportunity to serve you. But we can't do it for free. And while we are charitable individuals we can't run this business like a charity. We do offer military and legit club discounts with verification.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please call 318-413-2399 or email [email protected] and leave your information. We also have Facebook and a website. Both of which are found by entering the shop name wherever you browse.

I've got a set of brand new S&S 509C cams never installed. These were purchased to go with a hydraulic conversion kit and we ended up going a different route. Cams only $280 or they can be installed for extra. Total cost for install depends on set up and additional work to be done for the install.
