SI Hydrographics

Hydrographics is also known water transfer printing, hydro-printing, hydro-imaging and camo-dipping. This process is used by manufactures to add camo to your guns or wood grain to auto dash directly from the factory. The process consists of uses water –soluble film with the printed patterns. The film dissolves on the water leaving the ink pattern on the top of the water. The item to be dipped will be cleaned, primed and based coated. Once dry the part will be dipped through the pattern and will adhere permanently to the part. Once completed a clear coat is added to the product. Hydrographics can be used to decorate almost anything. Patterns can be added to substrates such as plastic, fiberglass, wood, and wood. Typically anything that can be painted can be dipped. We have 100’s of patterns available for you to choose from. Patterns range from camouflage, wood grain and carbon fiber to flames and skulls.
