7x16 is built from the ground up. It starts out on two 7k Rockwell axles with a multi-leaf spring suspension and equalizer. Next, there is one piece of 8-inch I-Beam frame that starts at the front of the trailer where the adjustable coupler ties in, clear back to the two rear pivot points of the dump box that lifts to a 45-degree angle.
All Dura-Haul 14K dump trailers come with a 7-gauge floor and 10-gauge walls. The floor is supported by 3-inch channel cross members every 16 inches in the underbelly of the dump box. The 10-gauge walls also flare out to 91-inches above the fenders to provide the maximum amount of room for those larger loads. Dura-Haul does not cut corners on their rails, the side walls will roll out, and then back down where they tie into the side walls to provide that extra support for the dump box. Dura-Haul also powder coats every trailer in a five-step painting process.
Another thing you will see is that all exterior electrical is encased in a molded harness. The Dura-Haul’s also come loaded accessories.
All 7x16 dumps will come standard with a spare tire mount, adjustable coupler, ramps, tarp, 3-way gate, stake pockets, battery charger, sidestep, and a large locking toolbox. All said and done the Dura-Haul 7x16 14k weighs in around 5,000 pounds and can haul about 9,000 pounds of material. If you find yourself needing a larger payload, then you can also get the 7x16 in a 16k.
