Sender Vans is growing fast, and we’re on the hunt for another talented Electrical Technician to join our team. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in electrical systems, especially those who can work with both AC and DC setups. Experience with marine, RV, or van systems is a major plus.

This build was a truly special one. Our client came to us with a heartfelt mission: to take his wife—who uses a wheelchair—on a cross-country adventure. We reimagined our usual layout to make more inclusive and accessible for them both.

From fully swiveling captain’s chairs made by to lift-supported beds that provide easy access to storage and the fridge, every detail was thoughtfully designed to support comfort, mobility, and freedom on the road.

It was an honor to help turn their dream into a reality. Wishing them endless open roads and unforgettable memories.

Steve brought in his DIY van build for some professional upgrades, and we were happy to help finish things off. He put in a lot of great work himself, and we added a few finishing touches to make life on the road a little more comfortable and functional.

We had the pleasure of working with an awesome client from Colorado who was passing through on a vanlife adventure. Their request? A custom bench that folds out into a bed—not for them, but for their most important travel companion... the family dog! 🐾

We designed and built the setup before their arrival, so installation was a breeze and they could hit the road again in no time. It’s always such a treat to see one of our builds return with all the personality and lived-in charm that only time (and a few miles) can add. Safe travels, friends!

Sometimes it doesn't take the biggest van to have the most fun. This build for a retired Vet will allow him to hit all the shows and festivals he can dream of with all the comfort of a larger build. Bench seat facing front and back for tailgating, folds out into a bed. Solar keeps the lights on and the galley provides the necessities. Clearly his travel buddy approves🤘👍

Check out this sweet bench/bed storage system we designed for a couple that wanted to turn their Transit Connect into a super functional weekend warrior adventure vehicle! We combined baltic birch plywood, WISA-Hexa ply and 80/20 aluminum to create a highly durable and stylish platform to keep comfortable and organized while out in the backcountry.

This base model features include a 36" slide-out drawer with removable storage bins, two general purpose deep storage compartments, and an innovative folding bed/bench combo. Additional sliding drawers can be added as well as customizing the system to accommodate coolers or other large items that need to be stowed away.

This system is designed for both the Transit Connect and Mercedes-Benz Metris platforms. It can be ordered for install by the Sender Vans team or can be flat pack shipped to your door for DIYers.
