6.7 cummins Came in with a bad oil leak, cleaned the area and isolated the leak to the front of engine, found the inner gear housing gasket pulled inward, common issue on cummins engine. Going forward with the repair itll get a new inner gasket and thin line of silicone along the outer top area to help hold the new gasket in place so this doesnt happen again.

Follow up video showing the new thermostat being tested at an oem temp stamp of 190 it opens at 190 smoothly as it should. Going forward on this repair before installation of new thermostat the block and all cooling system components will be flushed clean new coolant put in with a 50/50 mix for proper heat transfer and the block test will be re run to confirm if any underlying issues are present due to a failed thermostat causing an overheating issue.

Follow up video to the block test video. Keeping things simple for testing methods, the thermostat that was removed was stamped 180. Using water i raised the temp up to 205 and the thermostat never opened which will cause a flow issue also the radiator was bore scoped and infrared scanned and no blockages or build up shown present. next video you will see a new normal functioning thermostat being water tested before installation. there are many methods to testing but this test is simple and provides a visual of how it is functioning.

Intermittent stalling and intermittent no start condition. Concern was verified and found no fuel pressure present at key on as well no pump operation, circuit test at fuse b circuit fuel pump connector no voltage present, fuse checks good found a poorly very improper previous repair by another shop made to the main fuel pump power supply out of the tipm. R&S Performed a correct wire repair. And got this customer back on the road with confidence. Remember folks just because someone is cheaper does not mean they are providing quality long lasting repairs. Here at R&S we test not guess And strive to provide exceptional quality repairs

Company fleet truck in for overheating issue, higher mileage vehicle quick block test shows no issues determined to be a flow issue. Will rerun block test once coolant flow has been corrected to verify vehicle is leaving without any underlying issues. Here at R&S we test not guess.

Cold start misfire concern. Once concern was verified. a coolant odor was also noticed coming out of the tail pipe. Pulled misfire monitors up and confirm a cylinder 3 misfire present on start up after sitting several hours. Removed plug and scoped inside and found coolant in the cylinder pressurized system and could see the leak occurring. removed cylinder head block checked good no crack, completed a cylinder head refresh new gasket. No start condition through circuit testing isolated to radio frequency hub removed and accessed circuit board found issue present replaced shorted rfh and 3rd light housing. Root cause of the water intrusion was found to be from the 3rd light housing allowing water to leak down onto rfh module

Came in with a leaking front pinion seal on this rzr xp1000 checked pinion shaft found lots of play present. Removed the front diff and disassembled for inspection no internal damage. caught pinion bearing failure in time cleaned and installed a new pinion hd bearing. Back on the trails for this customer. YES we do sxs repairs and upgrades
