Hurray! Washburn County road routes are officially open… State numbered highways and any roads with signs indicating no ATV’s remain closed. Please obey all trail signage and respect landowners who give us the right to use their land for trails-

Thanks to all who helped open the roads and the clubs who maintain the trails!

Effective May 13th, 2026
All County Roads in Washburn County are now open to ATV/UTV traffic.
Signs are posted at all border crossings authorizing use of the County Roads and No ATV Traffic signs are installed where there is not a direct crossing of the State Highway.
An updated map showing all County Roads are open will be posted on the Highway Department Website.
Please drive safe and be respectful of others while driving on our Highways.
