Wisconsin’s frozen road law takes effect on Sunday, Dec. 14 for the northern half of the state. WisDOT designates the regions as Zone 1 and Zone 2 which includes US 10 near Stevens Point along with numbered state and federal highways north of US 10.

The frozen road law allows vehicles hauling abrasives or salt for highway winter maintenance and certain forest products to carry more weight. The seasonal weight restriction program is one way to protect Wisconsin’s investments in roads.

🏆 STATE CHAMPIONS 🏆

Rib Lake has claimed the WIAA Division 5 Volleyball State Championship with a 3-1 win over Newman Catholic! This is Rib Lake’s first team state title in any sport since 1999, and it is the first time a girls team has won a state championship in school history!

Congratulations to the team and coaches on such an incredible accomplishment! We know how much hard work has gone into making this possible!

We’re bringing home a gold ball!

🏐 REGIONAL CHAMPIONS 🏐

For the first time since 2011, Rib Lake volleyball has won the regional title! The Lady Redmen claimed the championship after tonight's 3-0 win over Winter.

The team advances to the sectional semifinals, which will be played on Thursday, October 30. More details will be announced in the coming days.
