A win for the day. This customer did his own valve adjustment and afterwards ran on 2 cylinders. Brought it in after all and it had 5psi of compression in #1. Pulled it apart to find a valve keeper somehow fell out “ assuming he didn’t have the shim seated in the bucket. So without pulling the head we pressurized the cylinder to hold the valve up and made a spring compressor out of a drum brake spring tool to compress the spring and install the keeper.
He got extremely lucky this valve didn’t drop as he rode it to the shop.
