Chris has been in love with cars almost his entire life. As a kid, he remembers helping his Dad work on the families’ ’71 Datsun 1200 and’72 Datsun 510, specifically touching up the paint on the grille emblems. Once he got a little older, his Dad was always quick to point out classic Ford Mustangs and help Chris learn to identify the subtle differences between a ’65 and a ’66. Although he has never owned one, Mustangs remain very special to him. It wasn’t until Chris’ first visit to Laguna Seca in Monterey that he fell in love with motorsports and sport cars. It was a the trip that turned him into a true car nut. Chris started detailing cars professionally over 15 years ago. He continued to do so off and on since then and opened Octane Detailing to pursue auto detailing as a full-time career. He is passionate about cars and truly loves maintaining them, and keeping them clean.

This is Ed’s MINI. It was ceramic coated by me almost exactly 4 years ago using P&S Detail Products’ Inspiration, a product generally rated by detailers as providing 3-years of protection. However, it’s still performing about 90% as good as it did the day I installed it. Why? Three reasons…

Jenna’s 2006 Jeep Wrangler has lived a life most SUVs only dream of, but 20 years of adventure had started to show. We brought this fun little Jeep into the shop for a total rejuvenation, and the results surprised us all. The transformation included…

Pro Interior Detail: We stripped away years of trail dust and beach sand to bring that cabin back to life. The process includes a lot of vacuuming, compressed air and steam cleaning, followed by nice application of protection to all the hard surfaces.

Level 2 Paint Correction: Two decades of scratches, swirl marks and oxidation were carefully polished away with a two step paint correction. The depth and clarity of the black paint is back and better than ever!

Black Trim Restoration: We swapped that faded grey plastic look for a deep, factory-fresh black with the help of specialized ceramic coatings.

Engine Detail: Because a Jeep this iconic deserves to look as good under the hood as it does on the 101, I took the time to carefully clean the engine and wash away a whole bunch of dirt. The mechanic is going to love me!
