Complete restoration of a 1950s Kelson. A few before and after pictures. Did a large amount of structural repair on the hull and quite a bit of challenging custom mahogany fabrication in the cockpit interior. Replaced the old plywood furniture with solid mahogany. Buffed out all the metal parts, both aluminum and the brass that was tarnished to a dark brown color. Sanded and re-faired the full and painted with Pettit gloss marine paint. All the new mahogany got clear varnish finish. She's good as new, probably better. šŸ‘šŸ˜šŸ¤™

Recent boat repair I did. I tell people, never run your boat onto the beach in any mountain lake, unless you know for sure that the beach is pure sand, because it is generally laced with sharp rocks like mini land mines. As was the case here.
The gentleman told me, he was told by several boat dealerships that they can't even look at his damaged boat until the spring.
I had him back on the water in less than 10 days!
Check out the sequence of pictures of the repair.
The damage was deep enough that warranted structural reinforcement of the hull's fiberglass structure with glass and resin before applying the fairing compound and the finishing gelcoat.
Last picture shows the buffed gelcoat of the repair.
She's back on the water in less than 2 weeks from first phone call.
If you have an RV or a boat that needs repair, please message me, I would love to help !
In some cases, I can do the repair at your location !

The SS Minnow was a 1964 Wheeler M/Y with a LOA of 38’6ā€ and powered by a single 230hp Detroit Diesel with a dry weight of 20,600 LBS. With a displacement style hull she had a cruising speed of 9 knots, which means they only could have traveled 27 nautical miles outbound from "Honolulu" during the duration of their 3 hour tour (excluding return trip & no wake zones ). Figuring in a 3 knot storm drift USCG search grids would only have been about 150 square miles and fairly easy to rescue šŸ¤”

Now I’m starting to doubt if this whole documentary was even real!

When I was asked to do this repair, the owner of the camper bus, who is a very nice lady, asked me to do the repair strictly for function. So getting two new aftermarket rear corner uprights and a bumper cover and color match paint them was not an option. The hole on the left side rear panel had to be patched, regardless. I did patch that and cut in a new access hole for the left position indicator light. Carved out all the old petrified sealant damaged by years of UV exposure and after taping up the cracked parts of the panels with professional RV sealing tape, re-caulked everything with a marine grade caulk.
The objective was to get this camper back on the road and we have achieved that.

Recently completed a structural damage repair on this 5th wheel camper. That front bulb was pretty busted up. The owner got an 8-12 month estimated repair window from the local RV dealerships with having to pull the camper to the dealership twice, once for damage assessment, take it back home and 4-6 months later bring it back for the actual repair that they estimated to take 4-6 months.
I got the job done without having to move the trailer a single inch from the garage it sits in !

They say the cobbler has the worst shoes, the carpenter lives in the ran down house, and the mobile boat and RV guy only get to work on his own gear in the evenings and weekends.
I decided to give my beloved sailboat "Critical Twist" a new coat. But first I have to remove the old one.

While it's not fiberglass work, it's part of my background in metal fabrication. A blown tire destroyed the port side wheel well on this retro camper and a replacement galvanized wheel well was no longer available from the manufacturer. Owner asked me if I can make one. I made a replacement from heavier gauge galvanized steel than the OEM was.
Fabricated, installed, sealed, and back on the road within a week !
So, if it's not fiberglass work, I still may be able to help you get back on the road having fun!

Did a repair on this Winnebago roof for a wonderful gentleman here in Reno. Not only the fiberglass roof was dislodged from the roof track channel, there was an 8 feet long crack about 6 inches from the bottom. With some trickery and building a makeshift jig, I was able to repair the crack in the Filon which was very challenging due to how thin is that RV roofing material. It was a fine line to keep the repair thin, so the roof could be still bent back into the roof track.
All and all, mission was accomplished, repaired the crack, painted it, tucked it back and secured it with Eternabond RV roof sealing tape. Tenacious stuff, lol ! Great product ! The owner did the math and he said I was able to save him close to 10Gs by not having to put a new roof on his bus. That was a good feeling ! šŸ‘šŸ™‚šŸ¤™

Just finished a quick tune up type repair on a 14 foot race/touring stand up paddle board.
The keel under the front had the tie down strap crush damage, both corners on the stern and some rock chips on the bottom rail from what I call beach rash.
Watertight again and ready to go. No fancy finish, just some red paint and clearcoat varnish.
Ready for the water !

Last winter's snow wasn't kind to this Lake Tahoe boat. A branch that broke off a tree punched through the motor housing cover inflicting damage to the motor and the housing. After the repair I have done, it looks as good as new and because I do all repairs to be stronger than the original part, the owner of the boat can rest assured it will be alright to sit on that corner of the motor housing.
After polishing this motor housing to a high gloss finish with a ceramic coating, I delivered it to Selby Marine Solutions of Reno, NV a couple of days ago. šŸ‘šŸ˜ŽšŸ¤™
