First, I would like to take a sec to thank all our supporters through these troubling times. The sport has seemingly exploded overnight, and as a result, we have massive backorders. Currently we are approx 20 weeks behind. I appreciate the interest dealers across the country have expressed in wanting to become dealers, but with the unprecedented back orders we currently have , we cannot take on any new customers at this time. I'd be more than happy to help facilitate a dealership program for you with one of my larger distributors if you don't already have one.
Now, price.....unfortunately, we have seen unprecedented price increases over the last several weeks and been warned of shortages on raw material. China is no longer absorbing the tariffs on fiberglass as they are now selling as much if it within their own borders as they have exported to the U.S in the past, so now supply is limited to what our wholesale supply houses have previously bought from them along with the increase in price. As far as the resins and gelcoats we use to make the bodies and seats, price has skyrocketed as well. I've been told this is due to the lack of chemical availability to make the resins ( most of our chemicals come from areas in Texas affected by the power outages). You have my word that as material prices start to come down, so will mine. Hang tough , this too will eventually pass and hopefully everything will get back to somewhat normal in the very near future.
