People touch it and ask what we put on the paint.

It is CQuartz Finest, and the honest answer is that it does not make a car look wet. It makes the surface hard to hold onto, so water leaves and dirt struggles to stay. The shine is a side effect of a surface that is easier to clean.

Brooklyn Grey deserves to stay looking like Brooklyn Grey, not slowly collect evidence of every mile driven.

This BMW M340i received STEK DYNOshield across the full front, rocker panels, rear wheel wells, and the top of the rear bumper, protecting the areas most exposed to rock chips, road debris, and everyday wear.

We finished it with CQuartz Professional ceramic coating, plus CQuartz DLUX on the wheels and brake calipers for added protection and easier maintenance.

The goal isn't to change how the car looks. It's to keep it looking this way while it's actually being driven.

The part nobody films is the ten minutes after the work is finished.

A Huracan EVO on CQuartz Finest, alone in the bay with the lights still on and nothing left to do to it. Then it goes home and gets driven, which was always the point.

Three films, and the difference between them has nothing to do with protection.

DYNOshield, DYNOmatte and color change film are all paint protection film. All three self-heal, all three carry STEK's hydrophobic top coat, and all three take the rock chips so the paint does not.

What changes is the finish. DYNOshield leaves the car looking exactly as the factory built it. DYNOmatte turns a glossy panel satin while keeping the metallic flake and the color underneath. Color change does what the name says.

So the question is never which one protects better. It is what you want the car to look like for the next few years.

Satin gray on a Model 3 Highland. Underneath it, the factory paint is exactly as Tesla left it.

That is what separates a color change in film from a wrap or a respray. A respray is permanent and it changes the paint code on the title. A vinyl wrap only changes how the car looks. Film changes the look, protects the panel while it sits there, and comes off cleanly when someone wants the original back.

For a car most people lease or trade inside four years, that last part matters more than the color does.

A Porsche Taycan, in for full front paint protection film.

The nose of a Taycan is one wide, low surface with very little breaking it up. On I-90 and 520 that is a target, and every chip lands on the first panel anyone looks at. Refinished paint never goes back to the factory finish, whoever sprays it.

The film goes on wet, gets squeegeed out, and then you stop seeing it. Light scratches close up on their own in the sun.

Carlos left that on Google five months ago, after a full detail and ceramic coating. His whole review is on the second slide, exactly as he wrote it.

We are putting it up now for a specific reason. We have 108 Google reviews. Most shops around us have two and three times that, and several of them opened after we did. That number is what decides who gets found first when somebody in Redmond or Bellevue searches for this work.

In twenty years we have never really asked. So we are asking.

The fastest way to ruin a car like this is to drive it exactly as intended.

An AMG GT63 came in for paint protection film. Not because anything was wrong with it, but because of what the next two years of driving it would do.

That is the whole logic of PPF. It is not a repair, it is a decision you make while the paint is still untouched, so that it stays that way.

The film is invisible once it cures. The only time you think about it is the day something hits the front end and nothing happens.
