Shasta SuperMoto Rider Academy 2026
What an incredible weekend at the Shasta SuperMoto Volunteer and Rider Academy! 🏁

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, instructed, supported our riders, and helped make the academy possible. It was great to see people learning, improving their skills, and working together to build a safer and stronger racing community.

A special thank-you to Doug Teeter for capturing the photos and videos that made this recap possible. We appreciate you preserving these memories for all of us!

Our Shasta SuperMoto Academy Weekend is almost here! The training is free, but everyone planning to attend Friday or Saturday must complete the online registration.

We need an accurate headcount so we can prepare enough instructors, training stations, handouts and supplies.

🔧 Friday — Volunteer Academy
Learn race-day roles, including waivers, registration, technical inspection, staging, flagging, timing and scoring, pit support, radio communication and emergency procedures.

🏍️ Saturday — Rider Academy
Training will cover five main areas:

Rider & Motorcycle Fundamentals
Track Safety & Awareness
Braking & Bike Control
Cornering
Applying It on Track

🏁 **ONE DRIVER. ONE WINNER. $1,000.** 🏁

Join us for the **UTV & Cross Kart Time Attack** on September 26–27, 2026, at Shasta SuperMoto & Shasta Kart Track.

Drivers will race the clockn a mixed asphalt and dirt course. **No head-to-head racing.**

💰 **$1,000 WEEKEND PURSE**

The eligible driver with the lowest combined weekend time across all UTV and Cross Kart classes wins the entire $1,000 cash purse. It will not be divided among classes or multiple drivers.

The combined time is the driver’s fastest official Saturday run plus their fastest official Sunday run, including assessed penalties. Drivers must register for both days, compete in the same registered vehicle both days, and record a valid official time each day to qualify.

• Novice — Non-Turbo UTV
• Novice — Turbo UTV
• Advanced — Non-Turbo UTV
• Advanced — Turbo UTV
• Advanced — Cross Kart Modified

UTV & CROSS KART TIME ATTACK REGISTRATION IS OPEN! 🏁

September 26–27, 2026, drivers will take on a challenging course combining asphalt and dirt at the Shasta SuperMoto and Shasta Kart Track.

This is racing against the clock—not each other. One vehicle runs the course at a time, competing for its fastest time within its class. No head-to-head racing, and novice drivers are welcome!

RACE CLASSES:

• Novice – Non-Turbo UTV
• Novice – Turbo UTV
• Advanced – Non-Turbo UTV
• Advanced – Turbo UTV
• Advanced – Cross Kart Modified

ENTRY FEES:

• $60 for one day
• $100 for both days
• Each driver must register and pay separately

DAILY SCHEDULE:

• Gates open at 7:00 AM
• Mandatory drivers’ meeting at 8:00 AM
• First timed run at 8:30 AM

SAVE THE DATE — Something new is coming to Redding Motorsports Park!

September 26–27, Shasta SuperMoto will present the Shasta UTV Time Attack!

UTV drivers will take on a mixed-surface course combining the Shasta Kart Track asphalt and the Shasta SuperMoto dirt section, racing one at a time against the clock.

⏱️ Individual timed runs
🏁 No head-to-head racing
🔥 Asphalt and dirt
💚 Fun for competitors and spectators

Two Tracks. Two Surfaces. One Clock.

We’re still fine-tuning the event schedule, classes and registration details, but mark your calendars now and start getting those UTVs ready!

Shasta SuperMoto Club Meeting Tomorrow Night!

We’ve got a lot happening as we continue rebuilding and moving forward, and we’d love to have our members there to be part of the conversation.

We’ll be talking about upcoming practice opportunities, our Rider & Volunteer Academy, race and UTV plans, our shared calendar with Shasta Kart Klub, and what’s ahead for Shasta SuperMoto.

There are decisions to make, ideas to kick around, and plenty to get ready for. This is your club, and your input matters.

And since August apparently has no mercy, we decided there’s no reason to roast everyone at the track. 😂 We’ll be meeting in the air-conditioned barn at Monroe Ranch instead!
