Here is the 2026-2027 calendar we submitted to the City last night. City staff told Council they did not anticipate an issue with our preferred dates because we were the first to submit.

Please review the preferred and alternate weekends before our October 27 meeting and bring your club’s date choices, backup options and any scheduling conflicts. We’ll work together to decide which clubs will schedule events on each date.

🏁 **EXCITING NEWS—LIVE UTV TIMING IS HERE!** 🏁

This weekend’s Test N Tune is going to be all about having fun, putting our new timing equipment through its paces and working through any bugs before the rescheduled UTV & Cross Kart Time Attack on **October 17–18**.

We have created a new **Live Scoring** webpage where friends, family and racing fans can follow the UTV lap times as they happen, even if they cannot be at the track!

We will also be testing our new laser timing system. It allows us to place the start and finish at different locations around the course. This lets us position the timing points away from the spectator section and tower, so UTVs will not need to carry speed through that area just to complete a timed lap. It also gives us more flexibility when designing future course layouts.

This weekend is about good people, track time, learning the new equipment and having fun. Most of all, it’s a chance to get Mark back around the people he loves and behind the wheel of his buggy, without the pressure of running a full race weekend.

Shasta SuperMoto Rider Academy 2026
What an incredible weekend at the Shasta SuperMoto Volunteer and Rider Academy! 🏁

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, instructed, supported our riders, and helped make the academy possible. It was great to see people learning, improving their skills, and working together to build a safer and stronger racing community.

A special thank-you to Doug Teeter for capturing the photos and videos that made this recap possible. We appreciate you preserving these memories for all of us!
