THIS IS WHAT A CP4 FAILURE CAN LOOK LIKE.

What you’re looking at may not look like much at first—but those tiny metal fragments in the fuel system can turn into a VERY expensive problem.

When a CP4 high-pressure fuel pump begins to come apart, it can send metal debris throughout the fuel system. Once that happens, the damage can go far beyond the pump itself, potentially affecting injectors, rails, lines, and other fuel-system components.

But there is a way to add an extra layer of protection.

We can install a CP4 disaster prevention kit, which adds an additional filtration system to help capture metal debris before it has the opportunity to travel throughout the rest of the fuel system.

It doesn’t prevent the CP4 pump from failing, but it can help limit the damage if a pump failure occurs.

If you own a diesel equipped with a CP4, ask us about a disaster prevention kit and whether it’s an option for your truck.

Sometimes an oil pan reseal is a little more involved than just dropping the pan. 😅🔧

This F-250 came in needing the oil pan resealed, and to properly access everything, we had to pull the cab and get to the oil pan the right way.

It’s a lot of work for something that sounds so simple—but doing the job correctly means taking the time to get the access we need, clean everything up, and make sure that seal is done right. 💪

At J’s Auto and Diesel, we don’t believe in cutting corners just because the repair is complicated. Sometimes the right repair requires a whole lot of disassembly first.

That’s just another day at the shop! 🔧

🥚 I HAVE EGGS! 🥚

I’ve always sold my eggs randomly, but most of the time I end up giving them away. With the number of eggs I’m getting right now, I think it’s time to get a little more serious about finding them homes!

I’m currently getting 15–19 chicken eggs a day and 6–7 duck eggs a day.

I currently have eggs in my refrigerator at home and in the refrigerator at the shop. The fridge at the shop has:

12 dozen chicken eggs
4 half-dozen cartons of duck eggs

At home I have:

11 dozen chicken eggs
11 half-dozen cartons of duck eggs

So, I’m officially going to start selling them and putting the money into a vacation fund!

Chicken eggs — $5/dozen
Duck eggs — $5/half dozen
