A project completed this week....Suspension/chassis refresh for Frank's 3rd gen Tacoma!

Started off by rebuilding the Icon shocks and control arms with new Delta Joints and bushings.

Updated the left axle bearing that has excessive play that can cause a weird vibration with lifted trucks with a sintered bronze bushing that is much tighter and has almost double the surface contact.

Finished up with dynamic balancing the tires and resurfacing the front brake rotors for a buttery smooth driving experience.

Today, we celebrate 250 years of American Independence.

On July 4, 1776, fifty-six ordinary men made an extraordinary decision. By signing the Declaration of Independence, they boldly declared that liberty was worth risking everything—their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. Their signatures marked the birth of a nation founded on the enduring principles of freedom, equality, and self-government.

The years that followed required tremendous courage and sacrifice from the soldiers, patriots, families, and communities who fought to defend those ideals and secure the independence that had been declared.

As we commemorate America's 250th birthday, may we honor both the vision of those who signed our nation's founding document and the bravery of all who fought to preserve the freedoms it proclaimed.

Happy 250th Independence Day! 🇺🇸

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter the words, but to live by them.” ~ John F. Kennedy.

We mourn the loss of every man and woman in our military who gave their lives while serving our Country, and to their families where the grief of that loss is still felt. Thank you for your sacrifice.

Pretty cool old ride we did some differential work on this week.....Can't remember the last time I worked on a rig that came with a production 9" axle?

Don bought this 1981 F150 new and has kept it pretty stock over the years except the early 90s Alpine CD Deck.......I razzed him a little about the digital music player in an analog truck!

Cool job we wrapped up this week.......

A Clayton Off Road 2.5" Overland+ suspension system on Dan's JKU.

Up front we installed Off Road Only's "Swayloc" dual rate front sway bar.

We decided on Fox 2.0 resi shocks w/ CD clickers and a Fox 2.0 TS steering stabilizer. Twisted her up on the forklift and tuned bump stops.....Gained a total of 3.25" Front and 2.75" Rear total vertical wheel travel!

On this project we delivered it with off the shelf shocks so Dan will more appreciate the transformation after we finish this project with his shock tuning after a bit of seat time.

It was thought at first that his existing 33s would be fine for a while, but with the aftermarket fenders, there us A LOT of space to fill? Hmmmmm.....
