We had another successful Monterey Car Week.

There were several KKR cars offered at auction. Including the 1962 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato, Winner of the Zagato Centennial Postwar class and The Vitesse — Elegance Trophy at the 2019 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance; and one of four finalists for the coveted Best of Show award. Also, a 1977 Land Rover Series III 109 Restomod done by KKR powered by a Cummins R2.8 Diesel.

The KKR restored Aston Martin DB2 hit the lawn at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. LML/50/11 is, as recognized by the AMOC, the first production Aston Martin DB2 for direct sale, and the first production car of the DB series to be sold.

We also transported several vehicles down and back for clients to enjoy driving during Monterey Car Week. Including a Zegato-bodied Alfa Romeo and two DB5s.

Our service van Austin A30 “clown car” did a fantastic job hauling us around the peninsula.

None of this would be possible without the highly passionate and skilled KKR employees. Special thanks to the crew for all the dedication, passion, and skills it takes to keep these special cars on the road.

We have hit bedrock. Now that disassembly is complete it is time to repair the extensive corrosion, and accident damage on this 1965 Aston Martin DB5. This car will be restored in factory original silver birch done to the concours level.

This 1977 Land Rover Series III was rebuilt, restored and modified by Kevin Kay Restorations.

This Land Rover features a Cummins R2.8L Diesel Crate Engine, AX-15 Manual Transmission, Custom Updated Frame, Linked Suspension, 4 Wheel Disk Brakes, Auto Leveling Air Ride Suspension, Custom Concours Level Paint, Full Custom Connolly Leather Interior, Land Rover Classic GPS and Infotainment System, Powder Coated Chassis, Custom Wood Lined Bed, Powder Coated Suspension, Full Custom Stainless Steel Exhaust System and more.

KKR had a great presence this past weekend at the Las Vegas F1 race.
We were able to spend time with past clients at the Fontainebleau Hotel Aston Martin display, F1 race, and even had time for a 22 car rally!
