Damper Doctor will be out of shop Wednesday through Monday if wanting a quote or information you can text 530-/46-2984 with questions if I have time I will return text but please be specific what make model engine size or we won’t return texts or calls. Also we normally tell that turn around is not more than two weeks this month is different will also be out of shop October 22/26 th same texting can apply. That will be for Fan Belt Toss in Palm Springs I will be taking Corvair dampers and late model rear struts for sale. Please bring cores with you or pay a deposit on them.

It is with profound sadness that the California Highway Patrol announces the line-of-duty death of Officer Brian Liles of the Visalia Area.

On September 28, 2026, at approximately 5:11 p.m., CHP Motorcycle Officer Liles was involved in an on-duty traffic crash on State Route 99, just north of State Route 190 in Tipton. He sustained critical injuries and, despite lifesaving efforts, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Officer Liles, 44, served the people of California for more than 16 years. After graduating from the CHP Academy in 2010, he was assigned to the San Jose Area and later served in the Hayward and Fresno Areas before transferring to the Visalia Area in 2019.

Officer Liles is survived by his wife, two children, his parents, and two sisters.

The CHP extends its deepest condolences to Officer Liles’ family, friends, loved ones, and all who served alongside him. His dedication to public service and commitment to protecting the people of California will not be forgotten. 🖤💙

Due to ATT problems my business phone won’t work for a “few” days. Not great. Till this is resolved contact can be done by email [email protected]. If have to speak to me leave phone number and exactly what you are looking for. By that I mean manufacturer year make model engine size. No response will be made to those saying “I need a damper”. Our service is from one to weeks to complete. Costs now days from about $200.00 up

Turbo Corvair guys I found a set of early turbo heads I had rebuilt years ago new valves deep seat Otto guides. I know now it’s recommended to put valve stem seals on intakes should I cut the Otto guides for seals?

Any of my Corvair friends have a set of early turbo heads totally rebuilt ready to install? Not interested in cores want complete overhaul set. Can sent old cores with one seat out later if they want them.
