This A/C compressor clutch definitely got a little too hot. 🥵❄️
This vehicle came in with an A/C concern, and once we got into the diagnosis, we found the compressor clutch had completely failed. You can see just how badly the clutch overheated and started to melt.
When an A/C system isn’t working, we don’t want to just start throwing parts at it. Proper testing helps us figure out why it failed and make sure we’re fixing the actual problem.
Arizona heat is hard enough on an A/C system when everything is working right! 🌵

This vehicle came in with a coolant leak, and during our inspection we traced it back to a failed water pump. In the video you can see coolant actively leaking from the pump.
The water pump is responsible for circulating coolant through the engine and radiator. Once it starts leaking or fails, the cooling system can lose coolant and eventually cause the engine to overheat.
Catching problems like this early can save you from a much more expensive repair down the road. 🔧

Sometimes an electrical problem comes down to one broken wire. 🔧⚡
This F-250 came in with the power window controls not working. During diagnosis, we traced the problem down to a broken wire in the harness. We repaired the damaged wiring, restored the connection, and got the window controls working properly again.
Electrical issues can be frustrating because the problem isn’t always a bad switch or module—sometimes it’s hidden inside the wiring. That’s why proper testing before replacing parts matters.

Another one back on the road! 🔧
This vehicle came in needing a complete rear differential replacement. We removed the failed unit, installed the replacement differential, filled it with the proper fluid, and checked everything over for leaks and proper operation.

⛽ This is one leak you definitely don’t want to ignore!
This vehicle came in with a fuel leak, and after inspecting it we found the source — a crack in the top of the fuel tank. You can actually see the fuel collecting around the cracked area in the picture.
Fuel leaks can sometimes start small, but because of the obvious safety risk, they’re something we always recommend taking care of as soon as possible.
It’s another good example of why tracking a leak all the way back to its actual source is so important. 🔧
If you notice a strong fuel smell around your vehicle or see fuel underneath it, don’t ignore it. Have it checked out!

⛽ This is something you definitely don’t want to find in your fuel system…
While diagnosing this Duramax, we found metal debris inside the fuel filter housing. On these high-pressure common-rail diesel systems, finding metal in the fuel is a major warning sign that a fuel system component—often the high-pressure injection pump—is coming apart internally.
Once metal gets into the system, it can circulate through the rails and injectors, turning one failed component into a much larger fuel-system repair.
This is why proper diagnosis matters. Instead of just replacing the part causing the immediate symptom, we want to know why it failed and what else may have been affected.
Diesel problems can get expensive quickly, so catching contamination early makes a big difference.

🔧 A little behind-the-scenes progress on an EcoBoost timing chain job!
This Ford EcoBoost is torn down for a timing chain replacement, and this gives you a pretty good look at what’s actually involved. With the front of the engine opened up, you can see the chains, guides, cam phasers, and valvetrain that all have to work together to keep the engine properly timed.
Timing chain issues can show up as rattling on startup, check-engine lights, timing-related fault codes, poor performance, or eventually much bigger engine problems if ignored.
We’re getting this one put back together the right way and back on the road. 🔧

Your serpentine belt might be trying to tell you something 👀
This is a good example of what a worn serpentine belt can look like. If you look closely, you can see cracking throughout the ribs of the belt.
The serpentine belt is responsible for driving several important accessories on the engine, and as the rubber ages it can dry out, crack, and eventually fail. A broken belt can quickly turn a simple maintenance item into a vehicle that leaves you stranded.
This is exactly why we check belts during our inspections. 🔧 Sometimes catching a small maintenance item early can save you a headache later.

A slow crank doesn’t always mean the starter or batteries are bad. 👀
This diesel came in cranking slower than it should, and we found this battery cable end heavily damaged from corrosion. As corrosion works its way into the connection, it creates resistance and makes it harder for all that amperage to get where it needs to go.
On a diesel, where the starter needs a LOT of current, a connection like this can make a big difference. ⚡
Sometimes the problem isn’t a complicated electrical failure—it’s simply a bad connection hiding right in front of you.
If your diesel is cranking slower than normal, don’t wait until it leaves you stranded. Give us a call and we’ll get it checked out! 🔧
