Thomas took the lead at the engine station to give the kids a real hands-on experience. 🛠️ He walked them through exactly how the internals of an engine work and showed them how to change a spark plug. The absolute best part of the session was at the very end when they got to fire the engine up and hear it roar! 🏎️💥

Aditya had an awesome time at Camp Drive! His favorite part was the electrical station, where he learned how technology is integrated to see inside a vehicle and control things, even from the outside.

We are proud to announce that this month’s $500 donation is going to Main Street Square’s Splash Lab!

This awesome program runs every Tuesday this summer and gives local kids a chance to learn, create, and have fun completely free of charge. Yesterday, the kids learned all about the Summer Solstice and got to decorate their very own sun catchers.

We love being able to support programs that give back to our community and keep things fun for local families. Make sure to follow Downtown Rapid City to see what they are up to!

Rylan spent the weekend at Camp Drive teaching some of the most essential skills every driver needs to know. 🛠️⚡️ From knocking out a standard oil change and handling basic vehicle maintenance to exactly how to safely jumpstart a dead battery, it was all about hands-on learning and helping the kids get comfortable under the hood.

Meet Shawn, one of our awesome Camp Drive participants. 🛠️ When we asked him about his favorite part of the weekend, he immediately pointed to the people and how great it was just hanging out with everyone here. But a close second for him was working on the motors, specifically replacing a spark plug and getting to hear the engine roar once they got everything put together correctly. Seeing all the smiling faces and the pure excitement from these kids as they got a firsthand glimpse into the automotive world was easily one of the best parts of the entire weekend. Get ready to hear a lot more soon as we share stories from both the kids and the instructors about exactly what they were teaching and learning out there in the shop.

The scoreboards are working overtime and the totals just keep climbing!

Post 320 has officially crossed the 200-run mark, sitting at a huge 223 runs ($1,115) for Love Inc! Post 22 is right there with them, racking up an impressive 204 runs ($1,020) for YFS.

That pushes our Grand Total to 427 runs and a fantastic $2,135 donated to support local youth and families so far this season! Every single run is making a real difference in our community. Let’s keep this momentum going!
