It has been a very busy month over here at StarkeyFab. Joey brought in a C6 corvette and said put this s485 on and make it fit under the hood. So I did...Definitely tight in there but it all fits nicely. Whitney also brought me her race BRZ for a harness bar replacement. The harness bar in the car was wayyyy too low and needed to be moved up for the harnesses to fit right with the seat. And I actually had a little time to get the air launcher parachute mounted up on the Z.

Wow! This Supra is pretty when it's all cleaned up! I have to say as an import guy this was a dream build with a dream car for me. Even after having to pull the trans again because of a leaky release bearing I still hit the target take home date. I assembled the engine, installed it, put the t56 magnum swap in, wired the Haltech Elite 2500, fabricated the exhaust and intercooler tubing, replumbed the turbo oil feed and drain, replaced the turbo with a new unit from Precision, cleaned up the factory wiring harness, and installed the flex fuel system in just under 4 weeks. This was a lot of work and figuring things out as I did not disassemble the car and it runs and drives flawlessly!

Ladies and gents we have fire in the pipes! Shout out to Richard Nelson with Calibrated Theory for punching keys on the laptop as I am not a tuner. Had a few minor issues to correct and she's up and going. Got all the fabrication done and the Haltech elite 2500 and extra sensors wired in. Have to button a few things up and she'll be on the road in no time!

It has been a busy month over there at StarkeyFab. 2JZ is assembled and in the car. Had to make some custom fittings for the turbo oil feed. The 2JZ GE and GTE blocks are slightly different the GE block is missing the oil feed port for the turbo. The very nice radium engineering triple pump hat is assembled and in the car. I built a mount for the Haltech elite 2500 to mount in the factory ECU location and configured it for all the sensors we are adding and the additional fuel pumps. Hopefully we'll be turning the key on this Beautiful Supra by the beginning of next week. This will be a full build in about 3 weeks time. T-56 magnum conversion, fuel system, Haltech system, engine build and assembly and we're doing some custom Fab for the exhaust and intercooler. Stay tuned for more on this project!

This weekend I also knocked out adding a very nice wishbone kit into a certain 4 link car for a friend. This turned out very nice!

Been a busy month over here at StarkeyFab. Here's a few projects I've been working on. This beautiful Corvette has been sitting since 2005. We had to replace the entire fuel system, all the fluids, and spark plugs. Surprisingly it fired right up and runs and drives excellent.

The K5 blazer I fabricated the running boards and installed them. I also repaired some window issues front and rear. We had the running boards LineX'd also. I was very impressed with the turn around time at LineX on Harrison St they had them knocked out in 4hrs on a Friday!

The 2JZ is here for assembly more on that project to come. This is going to be a really cool project I am super excited for. Stay tuned for more on that!

Busy week over here at StarkeyFab. I knocked out a bunch of little stuff this week. I built a support and mount for a fiberglass bumper, got a bumper from another vehicle to fit into a 97 4runner and added some support, got a service done on a 6.7 power stroke, and went to a remote location to remove an engine and trans from a 78 firebird that's getting LS swapped. The engine was locked up so the engine and trans had to come out as one. This was a complex finesse of moving things around. We had to move the lift with the car on it in order to gain access to the engine bay with a forklift. 😬 Sketchy situation but we got her done!

Shaughn brought this 2nd gen Camaro in for a prefabbed cage fit and added fabricating a downpipe. Unfortunately indicated by my previous post this cage did not fit well and required a bunch of modifications. U can see what's left of the "prefabbed cage". A custom fit cage will always fit better but I will say even with the modifications needed it did save this customer some money over having to make one from scratch. With the turbo being mounted so close to the tire I knew fabricating the downpipe would need a very tight radius and the pie cuts were the only way to go. This project was done start to finish in 10 days! No chassis jail here at StarkeyFab.

Pretty sure u don't want a pillar bar to bust your knuckles when you're wheeling a turbo LS car 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️. I was not impressed with the fitment of this "prebent and notched" cage kit for this 2nd gen Camaro. So I fix dat! Unfortunately there's only a few manufacturers that make quality kits that fit like they should. This was not one of them. U always get what u pay for and cheap usually means more work required. Finished pics coming soon.
