Most superbikes are inspired by racing.
The 2027 Bimota KB998 Rimini practically is a race bike.
Built as the homologation machine for Bimota's WorldSBK program, the KB998 Rimini has now achieved Euro 5+ certification, making this handcrafted Italian exotic officially road legal.
And the numbers are serious:
- 998cc Kawasaki ZX-10RR-derived inline-four
- 200 horsepower
- 111 Nm of torque
- Premium carbon fiber bodywork
- Billet aluminum chassis components
- Titanium Akrapovič exhaust
- Showa race-spec suspension and Brembo Stylema brakes

What makes the KB998 truly special isn't just performance.

This past weekend was the 30th Amelia Island Concours d'elegance - a world class motoring event in Florida, USA. Although primarily focused on automobiles, every year they have a themed motorcycle class. This year's theme was Motorcycle Mechanical Marvels and we were invited to show Bimota Tesis - our original Tesi 1Dsr and one of the very rare Tesi 2Ds. I am extremely pleased to say that we won a Class Award for the original Tesi 1Dsr. For its display, we had a stand built for the bodywork (Scales Studio) and also had a front wheel/axle on another stand to show how the hub steering works - we showed Bimota's truly marvelous mechanicals and the car enthusiasts were amazed!
