John 15:13: “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

This weekend we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
We hope that everyone takes the time to not just think about this as a long weekend and truly reflect on the sacrifice made.

When you sit on the beach this weekend, by the pool or having a cookout sit back and be extremely grateful for the comforts we have because of these men and women.

To those who mourn this weekend,
Psalm 34:18
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
We pray the Lord has brought peace and comfort to your weary hearts. We pray you lean into the loving Father through this unbearable walk.
That you rest in knowing that God is still good and he brings you joy even in the circumstances.
Being your pain to His feet.

Lord thank you for these men and women who sacrificed for others. They have given us the ability to live in a country that gives us such freedoms and weekends to enjoy with our families. Please help us to not take it for granted. Amen.
