Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using schematics and automotive electrical systems to identify issues efficiently.
Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components.
Execute complex repairs and electrical system troubleshooting.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete service tasks accurately.
Perform vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
Document repair procedures accurately for auto estimating purposes.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the work performed.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Skills
Proven dealership or independent shop service technician experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures.
Proficiency in reading schematics, automotive electrical systems, and understanding vehicle maintenance requirements.
Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on skills using hand tools and power tools.
Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent customer service abilities.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for efficient repairs.
Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and general automotive service standards.
