Full-Time Lead Maintenance & Groundskeeper

Sunset Resort and 429 Marina & Resort are looking for a dependable, experienced individual to lead and manage maintenance and groundskeeping operations at both Lake Tawakoni properties.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and prioritizing maintenance needs across both parks
• Performing general property and building maintenance
• Troubleshooting and completing basic electrical repairs
• Locating and repairing minor water leaks on the grounds and inside buildings
• Mowing, w**d eating, landscaping, and general groundskeeping
• Operating and maintaining equipment, including zero-turn mowers and tractors
• Completing routine repairs and preventive maintenance
• Keeping both properties clean, safe, and looking their best
• Working independently, staying organized, and ensuring projects are completed properly and on time

The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, hands-on, and able to take the lead in managing the day-to-day maintenance needs of both properties.

World Nature Conservation Day is July 28, and we’re spending the next 10 days showing a little extra love to the place we call home!

We invite everyone at Sunset Resort to help us beautify our park and protect the natural beauty of Lake Tawakoni. Even the smallest actions can make a noticeable difference:

🌱 Tidy and spruce up your site
🗑️ Pick up litter around the park and shoreline
🪴 Freshen up your outdoor space
♻️ Dispose of trash and recyclables properly
🐟 Help protect our lake and local wildlife
