Fall’s here, and deer season’s ramping up.🦌

Cole’s got a few quick pointers if you ever find yourself in that situation, but the biggest one is simple: your safety comes first. Don’t swerve. Trying to avoid a deer at the last second is how people lose control and turn a bad situation into a worse one.

If you do hit one, get to a safe spot, check yourself, then check your car, look for leaking fluids before you drive anywhere. And if something’s off, call a tow. Then take it to Hilbing, and we’ll handle the rest. 🔧

That’s how it goes sometimes, you fix what’s actually there, not just what you can see.

We had the pleasure of welcoming the students of Adams County CEO into Hilbing Autobody this past week!

They stopped by for a tour of the shop, got a behind-the-scenes look at how everything comes together, and asked some great questions about what it takes to run a business, from our repair process to the ins and outs of keeping a family shop thriving for over 70 years.

Adams County CEO gives local students the chance to learn entrepreneurship firsthand from businesses right here in the community, and we were honored to be part of that experience. Thanks for coming out, it was a pleasure having you, and we can’t wait to see where this group goes! 👏

It's in the fine details and the finish work. The craftsmanship that goes into every repair, right down to the parts you might not notice at first glance. It's not just about fixing a car and sending it out the door. It's about handing it back looking like nothing ever happened, because that's the standard we've held ourselves to for over 70 years.

Every repair has a few surprises.

This one came in rear-ended, but the full damage didn’t show until we got under the bumper.

Sometimes that means adjusting on the fly and taking a little longer, but doing it right is always worth the extra time.

A fallen tree limb did a number on this truck’s windshield and pillar.

Tedious work, but restoring the damage back to perfect is exactly what we’re here for.
