“Top side protection”
Protect your vehicle from both directions. Undercoating handles the exposed underside; cavity treatment handles the enclosed sheet metal above it.
Fluid Film creeps into seams and overlaps in the sheet metal and leaves an oily/lanolin-based barrier. That helps in a few important ways:
* Keeps moisture and road salt off the inside of the metal. Rust often starts inside doors, rockers, cab corners, and tailgates and eventually works its way outward.
* Creeps into pinch welds and seams. That’s a big advantage over harder coatings because it can migrate into tiny gaps where water collects.
* Protects drain areas and the bottoms of doors/tailgates, which are common places for corrosion to begin.
* Slows existing surface rust by reducing its exposure to oxygen, moisture, and salt.
