Be ready before the rain starts. 🌦️

Summer storms can roll in without much warning, and worn wiper blades make it harder to see when they do. Replacing them before the next downpour helps improve visibility and keeps you focused on the road instead of your windshield.

Keep following for more tips! Call (253) 948-2269 if it's time for new wiper blades.

Dark roads demand better visibility. 💡

If your headlights seem weaker than they used to, don't assume you simply need brighter bulbs. Cloudy lenses, aging halogen bulbs, weak electrical connections, and charging-system problems can all reduce how much useful light reaches the road.

And those aftermarket LED bulbs aren't always the easy upgrade they seem to be. Putting them in a housing designed for halogens can create glare and an unfocused beam.

Before darker commutes become a bigger headache, Goods Automotive can inspect your lighting system, restore cloudy lenses, and test the electrical side. Give your headlights a check before the next rainy night drive.

Struggling to see on dark Lakewood commutes? Learn how to solve headlight issues and find trusted local auto repair shops to restore your night visibility.

Cold start. Rough ride. Something's up. 🚗

A rough idle, extended cranking, or an engine that sputters on a cold morning can point to more than just chilly weather. Weak batteries, worn spark plugs, failing ignition coils, vacuum leaks, and sensor issues can all make cold starts harder.

Fortunately, a proper diagnostic can help narrow down the real cause instead of guessing at the repair. Catching these problems early may also help prevent a small issue from turning into a frustrating breakdown.

If your morning starts have been getting rough, Goods Automotive can check what's happening under the hood. Schedule a diagnostic inspection and get your engine running smoothly again.

Your tires need a little help staying planted. 🚗

Tire tread gets most of the attention when hydroplaning comes up, but your suspension plays an important role too. Worn shocks and struts can allow the wheels to bounce over bumps and puddles, reducing consistent contact with the road.

That movement can also contribute to uneven or cupped tire wear, creating another problem when wet weather arrives. Checking the suspension gives you a clearer picture of how well your vehicle maintains control.

Schedule a suspension inspection with Goods Automotive and make sure your tires have the support they need to stay planted when the roads get wet.

Your car’s heater depends on hot engine coolant flowing through the heater core. Low coolant, a radiator leak, a clogged passage, or another cooling system problem can leave you with cold air from the vents.

That also means the issue may involve more than the HVAC system itself. Catching coolant problems early can help protect the engine from overheating and prevent a small leak from becoming a much bigger repair.

Not sure why your heater isn't warming up? Let Goods Automotive take a closer look. Schedule a cooling system inspection today.
