He plans on continuing the same high quality mechanical repairs, on trucks of all sizes with both gasoline and diesel engines along with heavy equipment of all types; that he has been providing as the Manager of High Gear since 2007.

New laws will let drivers as young as 18 make interstate trips. Although younger drivers tend to be more prone to accidents, limiting travel distance and hours will help provide an environment for future truckers to grow into their roles as drivers.

Dezjion Henson has wanted to be a truck driver his whole life. When he turned 18 last year he jumped at the chance and signed on as an apprentice with Total Transportation of Mississippi, LLC in Richland, Mississippi.
