A little about myself, first I am running a Veteran owned business. I served in the Army for 17 and a half years. I just retired from the D.O.D after 21 years 11 months. I wanted to give back to my community and what better way is to serve this awesome place we call home, Babcock Ranch. I started as a mechanic on vehicles. I then took a challenging career is generator repair. Next I also was an in

structor instructing classes from coatings (painting equipment) to OSHA and ANSI mandatory training. I also worked on very sensitive equipment that to this day if you are watching what is going on overseas, that equipment is saving lives. I was educated in the LEAN and CPI processes. I also worked with a lot of contractors like Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Datapath, General Dynamics, Cummins, and many more to improve and overhaul current and new equipment. I promise to give my full attention to the needs of the community, whether it's a squeaky roof, a little bit more speed (25 mph), or just some advice.

I see a lot of dealerships having liquidation sales. It could mean "Not carrying that brand anymore!".

OFFICIAL!!!!!

It's official now!!! I now offer wheel balancing. Not only do I change tires, now I have a wheel balancing machine. Just like when you have your car tires replaced. Because Babcock is growing, there must be 100+ miles of roads here. So why not have the smoothest ride on your cart. But not all tires can be balanced. Off-road tires will not balance correctly. Some low priced tires are egg shaped so they are a little harder to balance. Contact me let's get the best possible ride out of your cart!!!

****New Tool Alert****
Playing with the new shop tool!!! Soon I'll be offering wheel balancing. ONLY for street tires. Due to how much roadway is in the Ranch, I felt that this is going to be used just as much if not more than the tire changing machine.

If a dealer tells you that you void your warranty if you have another shop to service your cart, think again!!!

About a week ago I saw a short video of someone local ( so clalled GURU) showing them servicing brakes on a cart. I couldn't quite see the exact method but I can probably 100% narrow it down to one of two abrasive tools. They were using one of the tools in picture #1 or #2.

Picture #1 is a wire wheel used on a drill. While it might look like it's scuffing the braking surface, it's actually doing more harm than good. These are made for cleaning rust and paint off. Years ago they produced sparks when grinding metal. Today they are made from stainless steel and brass. Traces of brass are deposited on the surface. Brass acts as a lubricant so meaning at some point the braking surface will be covered with a film and the brakes will fail!

Picture #2 is a die grinder sanding disc. Yes it will scuff the surface. But by hand you will create a washboard effect on the brake disk which over time will prematurely warp.

Pictures #3 and #4 IS THE CORRECT way to dress a brake drum or rotor. In a machine that can take off the surface glaze accurately. This is the ONLY way I do it.

Not often do I do a lithium to lithium swap. Unfortunately the old battery stopped working so the neighbor reached out and I was happy to help. The old battery was a 55ah and big and bulky. The new battery is 105ah and smaller footprint. It is almost double the capacity and smaller. And the bonus was now they have a gauge that they can see without looking under the seat.

Not just one but two 160ah Summit lithium batteries. It was a busy day!
