Palmer spring is looking for a self motivated, full time truck mechanic with focus on brake, front end and suspension repair on trucks and trailers.
Truck mechanic responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• completing all aspects of a repair/work order
• diagnosing, identifying and solving the necessary repairs
• finishing tasks in a timely fashion
• clear and frequent communication with the garage foreman
• maintain and proper use of shop tools and equipment
• maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
Most jobs will be focused on:
• brake system repair/replacement, including air and hydraulic systems
•complete suspension repair on all types of vehicles
• front end work, especially steering repair and alignments
Must have some mechanical abilities. Experience in the industry is preferred and tools are required. Uniforms are supplied. Overtime is available at the discretion of the foreman. Hourly wage and benefits are based on performance and gained experience.
