Jason is working on a 2014 Silverado with the 6.2L engine and showing one of the common failures with the DoD lifter.

When that lifter fails, it can bind up and bend the push rod, causing a misfire, rough-running engine, and a flashing check engine light.

Ignore those symptoms long enough, and you could be looking at camshaft damage… or even an engine replacement.
