Update from Janice on
!!! Mr Colton Weeks-Hannagan!!!
Please keep him in your prayers.

💚Whelp, I told myself I would hold off to talk about this till I had ALL the facts and information, then a game plan to give out to everyone, as I didn’t want inform you incorrectly, BUT, with knowing that some things are outside of our control, and we need to rely on our faith to help us in difficult times as we need support from you to pray for our loved ones 💚
And So here this goes…my favorite boy, Willard, has been diagnosed with a BRAIN TUMOR😭

Yep thats Right, BRAIN TUMOR We are currently here at Wesley Hospital in Wichita, impatiently waiting for test results to see what kind of demon is inside his brain,,, as the tumor is deep inside his brain. Samples of the serum are being tested here in house then other samples have been sent out to a Mayo Clinic for testing.
🖐️How did Willard get to this point ????? Just the unfortunate Random draw of the cancer stick 😭 and just the unlucky pick to be in the brain. His clinical signs were: headaches blurry vision, stumbling, taking longer naps than normal, some vomiting. Shalom and Jason noticed these symptoms March 28th and also a little earlier on but nothing to give them the red Alarm alert. They took him to a doctor March 31st, ordered a CT scan for April 1st by 3 pm that day, Jason received the phone call regarding the results and it came back that Willard has fluid on his brain, (Hydrocephalus) along with some tumors seen, was told to get him to Wesley Hospital NOW as this was life threatening/ highly critical situation. They placed at outward shunt on the right side of his head to start reducing the pressure and fluid. That shunt is to stay in till we get all the results back then determine the next corse of action.
✅ the shunt is doing its job
✅ the MRI w/contrast of his spinal fluid came back CLEAN 🙏 so no tumors present there 🙏
✅the fluid surrounding the Dura Mater, CLEAN 🙏
✅ his sc***um ultrasound, tiny lesion BUT nothing that their overly concerned about and not related to the potential of GERM CELL cancer.
🟩 we do know that their wanting to put in a permanent shunt in. they’ll go from his brain to his abdomen to help keep the fluid drained, but will not do that till we get results back to avoid any type of spreading and infection
🟩 we do know that they are not willing to do the biopsy here of the brain due to the severity in the location of the tumors and discussions are made of where we can go BUT can’t do anything until we get those results back

Willards spirts are good but he’s just antsy to get results and is ready to get out of here. They do have him doing physical therapy once a day, which makes him overly excited to have some independence.
💥can he have visitors, YES but they can’t from 7-8 am & pm for shift change
💥 he does have his phone so call or text him, he’d LOVE to hear from you
💥can he have snacks or even fast food, YES ((( I just ask to not bring him any soda 😉)
💥he’s currently good on snacks but he won’t turn any food away unless it’s mushrooms🙃
⭐️I am beyond thankful to Jason and Shalom for saving his life and all the resources they have to help Willard.
⭐️I am grateful to my job to allow me to be here with him
⭐️I am thankful to each and every single one of you for your love and concerns to my boy, as I feel helpless that I can’t help him
⭐️I cant explain how blessed I am that you are praying for my son, as some of you know him and some of you don’t but your willing to include him into your prayers
⭐️ I do not wish this situation on anyone, more so when it’s your child so go home love and squeeze your babies and always remind them how much you love them 💚

Here we "snow again!" More winter weather is on the way, this time, bitter cold temperatures could make treating the roads more challenging as anti-ice efforts may not be as effective in sub-zero temperatures. Plan ahead, and be prepared for travel impacts. Check www.kandrive.gov

⚠️ Winter Weather Driving Tips ⚠️

🔺Remember to remove all ice and snow from your vehicle before driving, especially from the hood, windows, roof, and lights.

🔺Drive slow (at or below the posted speed limit) and adjust your speed for the changing road conditions.

🔺Turn on your headlights, using low beams when traveling in snow.

🔺 Increase your following distance. In winter weather, travel at least eight to 10 seconds behind the car in front of you.

🔺 Give snowplows plenty of room to work. Don’t tailgate and try not to pass. If you must pass, take extreme caution in doing so. Remember, a snowplow operator’s field of vision is restricted. You may see him, but they don’t always see you.

🔺 If you skid, don’t brake or accelerate. Remove your foot from the gas, and gently steer your car in the direction of the skid (the direction the rear of your vehicle is sliding.) When your car starts heading in the desired direction, carefully straighten the wheel.

🔺 Slow down before exiting the highway. Exit ramps often have icy patches, sharp curves and stalled or stopped vehicles.

🔺 Have a personal safety kit easily accessible in your vehicle that includes: an ice scraper/brush; shovel; jumper cables or battery starter; blanket; sand, salt or kitty litter for traction; lock de-icer; flashlight and new batteries; extra windshield wiper fluid; safety flares/warning device; cell phone with spare battery; water and non-perishable food (i.e., granola or protein bars); and paper towels or a cloth.

🔺 If your vehicle does become disabled, pull off the road as far as possible and turn on your emergency flashers. Remain with your vehicle until help arrives. If you can’t get your vehicle off the road and are uncertain about your safety, do not stay in your vehicle or stand behind it. Proceed carefully to a safe location away from traffic.

Call JSeven Autos Inc. (620) 200-4402 for all of your towing needs as we encounter the winter weather! 🆘
