Well, today is a day we’ve known was coming since January… but knowing it was coming sure doesn’t make it any easier.

One of our dear friends and lead technicians, Devin Hutman , is officially beginning his next chapter and moving across the world to Germany to be with his amazing wife, Pia. 🇩🇪❤️

When we hired Devin, we knew this day would eventually come. What we didn’t know was that somewhere along the way, we wouldn’t just gain a great technician—we’d gain a friend, a brother, and a member of the Wallace Automotive family.

Replacing him will be impossible. Filling his seat will be improbable. The knowledge, work ethic, personality, laughs, and friendship he brought into this shop every single day simply can’t be replaced.

But while Germany may be gaining one hell of a technician and an even better man, Devin will always have a family and a home here with us.

Devin, from everyone here at Wallace Automotive, we wish you and Pia nothing but happiness, success, love, and perfection in the journey ahead. Here’s to all the work, the bu****it, the love, the laughs, and the memories we’ve shared—and cheers to a friendship and brotherhood that doesn’t end just because there’s an ocean between us. 🍻

We love you, brother. We’re proud of you, and we’re going to miss you more than you know.

It truly is an inspiration and an honor to work alongside—and call friends—some of the greatest individuals this country has to offer.

When good people and local businesses come together for a common purpose, amazing things can happen. This wasn't about recognition or publicity. It was simply about helping someone who served our country get back on the road and regain a little more independence.

🔧 WALLACE AUTOMOTIVE IS HIRING! 🔧

Well, it’s that time again — we’re looking to add another technician to our team!

One of our great techs is getting ready to make a big move out of the country and will be leaving us next Friday. We’re excited for what’s ahead for him, but that means we have an opening for the right person to join the Wallace Automotive family.

We’re looking for someone who has knowledge, their own tools, a strong work ethic, and the drive to make an honest living doing quality work.

More importantly, we want someone who takes pride in what they do. We expect our technicians to put the same care into a customer’s vehicle that they would if they were working on their spouse’s, their mom’s, or their own car.

We aren’t looking for shortcuts, parts changers, or someone who just wants to punch a clock. We want someone who can diagnose, repair, learn, communicate, and take pride in sending vehicles back to our customers fixed right the first time.

💰 Pay is flat rate and DOE — experience, ability, productivity, and attitude matter.

We’ve worked hard to build Wallace Automotive into a shop where our customers trust us and our employees can take pride in where they work. If you’re looking for a shop that stays busy, values quality work, and wants to see its technicians succeed, we’d like to talk to you.
