On this build, everything except the tank will be powder coated, chrome, or black anodized. I forgot the mention that my client is the father of a daughter who lost her right leg in an accident a few years ago. This trike will be her trike. I wanted to do something special with the paint and those who know me know I like to do something special with my art at no extra charge. I ran this past her father (my client ) and he very much approved. The artificial wing is painted on the right side of the tank same as her prosthetic leg. Her father said she likes to say I have learned to fly again. The pictures will tell the story. Because of her special needs, the floorboards and controls needed to be machined and fabricated. The shifter and rear brake controls are on the left side together and the right side floorboard is designed for her prosthetic leg.
The badass trike was delivered to my client's daughter in Minnesota. My client sent me a picture of his daughter on her new trike. Attached is the picture. Here's a copy of his text- She was in tears and it was beyond her wildest dreams. She said thank you many times. Thank you buddy. Talk at you later.
