My old man was absolutely the toughest man I have ever known. He was loved, appreciated and respected by so many.

He taught me so much when I was a kid, everything from how to chop a top to assembling an engine and the older I got the more he taught me.

He showed me what “stacking dimes” really meant and why you DO NOT grind a weld!

Last week when things got bad I told him how proud I was of him that he never quit or gave up but if he wanted to take a break and rest some, I would fight for him the rest of the way.

He always bounced back but eventually it all took a toll and he just ran out of time.

I miss my old man.
