Retarding the timing is not how to solve the low power issue on a 310hp engine. At stock timing this should be 14*. This engine is getting a set of 425hp nozzles that match the compression ratio, advance inspected, timing adjusted, overhead checked and Jake's added.

For as long as I can remember I've wanted my own service truck and shop. On my service truck I wanted a crane so I could fly a flag on important holidays when the truck doesn't move.

We remember and appreciate all that sacrificed.

At the new shop there will be a flag pole and memorial that will be lit up 24/7. This truck will still carry a flag on certain days.

Par for the course a timing check turns in to more. Hopefully we have this one straighten out and ready to stroll the big road. Thanks Nick and Gann and Sons Trucking. Enjoyed teaching Nick on the workings of a B model CAT.

Fix was as follows. I'll start including that with the complaint. Maybe we can help guys learn at the same time.

Timing out of spec, screen for advance oil supply broken, updated the torque group and set fuel accordingly.

Made a trip to Louisiana to find an issue with this b model and set the fuel. I sold Jarrett the engine parts and coached him a bit on building it. He has built this truck with his own hands and he knocked it out of the park. While there I rolled rods and mains in his dad's 5ek along with running the overhead. It's been a long few days and I'm ready to be home.

Also got to try new foods that I've never had before.
