January 1, 1996 Kenny and I officially started Butler Street Automotive in Marietta with the help of a complete stranger who loaned us $30,000 on only a gentleman's handshake to repay. Our three kids basically grew up in the family business, learning core values that Kenny instilled in them all the while living out his dream of being a business owner doing what he loved. Classic cars was his true passion, but he would work on anything and mastered it all. Today, Friday December 31st, our last paying customer to leave the shop was none other than Mr. Chris with a 1939 Pontiac Coupe! It was truly an emotional, bittersweet moment with many tears shed. I know Kenny would be super proud of how we all managed to find our inner strength, pull together and figure it all out in order to finish what he started, and how we honored his legacy by having his business GO OUT IN CLASSIC CAR STYLE!

Dear Facebook friends and family,

It is with a heavy heart, that we share the latest news of Butler Automotive Repair. At this time we feel like the Lord is giving us clear direction to close our shop doors. We have loved the relationships that we have built with you over the last twenty-five years and will miss many of your smiling faces and friendly conversations. We appreciate all of your business and entrusting your vehicles to our care. Our family will greatly miss our time and the many memories that the shop holds.

Unfortunately we will not be taking additional appointments, but we will be posting information on the upcoming liquidation sale soon.

Thank you again for all of your support for our family over the last several months. We would appreciate the continued prayers for strength and guidance during the next few weeks.

This year Butler Automative Repair celebrates 25 years of business. But this year has been far from what we had hoped for.

Our family is dealing with tremendous loss. Not only within our family, as we grieve the passing of our beloved husband and father. But also as we deal with a shortage of business at the shop. Our doors have been open with very few appointments.

And now we must ask for help from our Facebook family and friends. We are asking you as our loyal customers, to please share! Share our shop name with your friends and family, and send them our way.
